Show Rules
- 🟢 Green = EP songs (tight performance, well-rehearsed)
- 🟡 Yellow = Shaky originals (needs extra attention)
- 🔴 Red = Cover song (potential challenge points)
- Start: Lead performer calls designated cue, drummer establishes and locks tempo
- Stop: Drummer raises stick as visual signal = IMMEDIATE HARD STOP
Global Cues & Fallbacks
Start Protocol
- Designated lead performer clearly articulates the predetermined cue phrase
- Drummer establishes and locks in the appropriate tempo for the piece
- All other performers follow in established sequence according to arrangement
Stop Protocol
- Drummer raises stick high above head as unmistakable visual cue = HARD STOP
- All performers immediately cease playing upon recognition of the visual signal
- No trailing notes, gradual fadeouts, or individual embellishments permitted
Recovery Plan
- If disoriented or lost in the arrangement: Immediately vamp on the root note/chord
